Mac Emulator Pokemon Pearl

Al peak from the Resinera

For everything in life is a first time, but this time I have not been alone in this to be freshman at the time of the summit on a hill well known by all. Yes ..

Juan and Pilar had not yet risen to the peak of Lucero .... so the novelty, excitement, surprise, the sensation of learning with each route, like to put for the first time feet on a new site .... have not been just for me. This Sunday we returned, therefore, the Sierra de la Almijara for climb to the top most representative of this area.

Concha ... have to check how your camera puts the date!

El Lucero 1779 m, which is not bad to be a mountain so near the sea. What makes it so peculiar that a triangle is so perfect you have that makes it recognizable almost anywhere.

turned out that the peak was NOT behind Lucero ...

Very popular with hikers throughout the year, you can access it from several sites that make more routes longer or shorter. In our case, we opted for a shorter route, it has not passed the 18 km starting from the Resinera, a place where years ago (I recognize that I will not ...) was collected from the pine resin ( acknowledge again that I'm not sure what ..... I think someone told me, but I do not remember!). Of course, the information I give is going to bare ...

Cuesta stop for breakfast at Brown.

The route is generally readily available, only the last stages to the very top are harder because the trail is very rocky and steep .... to reach the summit surprised by the extent of horizon 360 degree views which include most of the peaks of these mountains and certainly, some have a name inspired the Sea: the Swan, Heaven, La Maroma, the same Lucero ...
(some others are much less evocative names .... I seem to omit that will not break the magic of the moment).

Before attacking the rise of truth, the path is very comfortable.

We have opened his eyes to not miss any of that almost infinite horizon: most of the provinces of Malaga and Granada to our feet, including part of the coast in both provinces, others more distant mountain ranges, as the same Sierra Nevada, Sierra de las Nieves, Lújar, Sierra Arana ... a good band Maditerraneo sea, and the distance, barely visible through the mist, the coast of Africa.

In the photo does not really appreciates what it was really all from above ...

A colleague told us that in times of post-Civil War English this entire border between the two provinces was the Mecca of black marketeers in these parts; shelter of bandits and smugglers, and many skirmishes between the Civil Guard and these "renegades" were in these mountains and ravines. At the very top of Lucero still standing two walls of a former barracks of the Guardia Civil, which controls the area.
I had the opportunity to read something about it, the truth is that the stories of what happened around here are scary ....

; The ruins of the old barracks.
.
As on top of Lucero was windy and cold, we ate a little further down, and since then the drop in the lane to lane Resinera was fast ...
We have come across some hikers groups, one of whom was a Shar-pei Cachorrilla surprisingly tiny, but has had guts to go up and down the entire path of the Lucero ... female had to be ...!

The aforementioned brave regaining some strength.

few incidents on the road today .... except the small details that go about to peak and change of perspective, not much aclarábamos us what was really the Lucero said, and on .... after locating the two or three that we were going to head past the path that leads to the top, and we had to retrace our steps few hundred meters ....¡ a pittance at all ...! Luckily the rest of the group has warned before losing sight ...

path on the Lucero.

Occasionally I hear some walkers say that, for many times to do summit in the same place, each one is different. I've already proven that this is true, but as the first time, no ...!

Most of the group, lack the photographer on duty.

The photos are watching this time have made Concha, Victoria, Antonio and Manolo.
